The problem
Recommendation feeds turn an intention into passive scrolling before you have decided what you came to learn or watch.
What I built
A Chrome extension that replaces YouTube's home feed with one search box, three random Wikipedia detours, and your own saved questions and videos. It also hides Shorts, comments, and recommendation sidebars by default.
Proof
Version 0.1.0 is published on the Chrome Web Store. No accounts, analytics, ads, or remote executable code.
What I learned
A useful recommendation system can start by removing recommendations.
